The awards are not given to the "best map" of all of them. Rather, a map that the author really spent time on perfecting it with details and so on, gets a "high quality" award.

I'm not sure about negative awards yet, but I guess I could do that.

So, until now we have:
- "quality/detailed/complex", f.e. XPS' newest map would be a candidate for this one
- "fun" (maybe I'll throw this one out, it's too subjective)
- "t17/buggy map"
- "creative/original"
- maybe "playability". Good fly's could get this one f.e.

Cus of a leak in W:A, this map is now ready for download. At least the leaked map is the finished edit of the map. IT’S DONE. Due to popular demand, and the fun testing this map with non-DM members. It’s out for download finally. This map has been the sweat and blood of making any map I’ve ever done. With the placement of every not so easy water trap, to every single hide in this map, and there is a lot of them. Note the five dead worm bodies, the statue holding the super nana, the custom big eye, and every single little eye. This map has been psychologically engineered in detail to frighten the living SH*T out of your worms. With the time spent on making this map, I’m sure it will not disappoint. So without further ado I give you the 2nd installment of Metroid Shoppa, METROID SHOPPA 2!!!!!!!

Imo there should be awards for both good and bad things

and yeah i like that t17 award...

maybe you should make awards with names like they are ingame :
- the nasa award for best fly map
- ..... has a weird (yellow color) for worst color scheme
- the map that turned to the darkside for best hides (i dont know man, just making something up)
- the entertainment award for best map overall
- Big Billy's circus award for map that requires best roping skills

overall awards i was thinking off
- best author overall
- best map defined per scheme (and leave the silly ones out)

that's all i could think off now

Yeah a difficult/challenge award sounds good.

And what is a Mewp award?

Hello everyone!

I need some feedback. I'm developing the new WMDB right now, and as you all may know, I'm implementing so called "Awards". They are given away by appointed people. Anyway, what awards should I implement? I have the following:
- high quality
- fun
- creative

Any more ideas?

This is for anyone interested in submiting a shopper map of their own into a contest. Homebrew Worm Designs is currently holding a "Shopper Map" Contest for those who believe they have the skills to make a great map. Max participants is set to 18 mapmakers. There are currently 11 spots left open for maps and descreasing. If you are interested, hurry to WMDB's link section and you will find the Homebrew Worm Designs link there.

I like Firefox, mainly because it puts Microsoft under pressure - it's simply the better browser, including its CSS support. The problem is that IE is very forgiving when it comes to CSS, thus pages that have been coded for IE don't necessarily display well in Firefox.
