FatalFanatic added this great feature "Download with special effect" that let's you colorize the maps before downloading! It's fun. We are still having some small issues, i.e. it doesn't work properly on some maps, but on the ones it does it's great!

Typing in "wmdb.org" into the URL box gives you the search "wmdb" which returns no maps, of course. I thought WMDB had lost all of its maps for a second!!

I added a small feature: if you want to link to your maps you can do so by using the following url

http://YOURNAME.wmdb.org

yeah we only have color maps. What maps are you trying to find? Maybe I can help you

I designed the wmdb as an open system (there are no registrations). If users misuse it, it's their own fault.

No i truly believe people are downloading their own maps. Like Green And Fast RopeRace by COo1. His download is 7 and has only been viewed 4 times. He has to be downloading his own map as well as other map makers

because it's a different system now. Before the change, when you looked at a thumbnails page, every map on the thumbnails page got an additional view. That gave the maps of course alot of views.

Now a view is when you open the view_map.php page for a map, which makes more sense in my opinion.

The stats will normalize as soon as more people have looked at the maps. However it suprises me how little known the wmdb still seems to be.

I have a feeling people are downloading their own maps so it could be on top of the statistics. The maps that are on top are old maps so how is it all of a sudden that the downloads are near 100%

I was thinking of doing a "featured" maps page. People would have to review a map, and if the review and the map was is good enough in the admins opinion, it would be added to the "featured" maps page.

You should make a separate page of favorite most "original" maps of your choice Alice as the site owner. Just an idea.
